Taking photos is about capturing the true feelings and emotions of that moment. I want my clients to look at the photos and know exactly how they felt in that moment…whether it was one week ago or twenty years ago. That is the essence of photography.

Why I Chose Photography
Taking a basic photography class in college to fulfill my degree sparked my interest in photography. The instructor/department head Bob White said I had significant aptitude for photography and encouraged me to pursue it Mr. White invited me to come to the photo department once a week so that he could give me a “photo assignment” to work on. I did so, and remained involved and interested in photography. I attribute my career to Mr.White. It was his encouragement and generosity with his time, and with me, that kept me moving in a direction after collage.
I continued to practice my photography within the sport of pga tour golf I began to investigate photographing other sports which opened up many doors to photograph for other clients. Most notable were the years of NCAA collage bowl games all over the Unites States photographing professional sports like the NFL, MLB, PGA, and concerts.
Motor Sports became perfect additions to my list of every charity event in the Phoenix area. While working for many high-profile publications, I began to incorporate the use of lighting into my action photography.

While my sports event coverage continues today, the emphasis of my action imagery is expanding into the commercial advertising industry. This expansion of my photography involves photographing athletes for a variety of sports and athletic related companies. Moving into this new area of photography brought on exciting challenges and a much grander incorporation of complex lighting scenarios. It was natural for me to apply and develop creative lighting situations for commercial clients. Today, I continue to use Sport Strobe Lighting systems.I have never planned on becoming a photographer, or traveling around the country photographing some greatest sporting events and of the day. I have had the opportunity to share with others via my photographs what I have been privileged to witness.
